A little positive, motivational reminder…

Hey guys! So, as you know, if you have read my previous blog posts, i am currently living in Halkidiki, Greece. I’ve been here for just over 6 weeks now and i absolutely love it. It only hit me the other day, when a guest asked me how i was finding my first ever season. My reply? Couldn’t ask for anything more. I’m in a beautiful place, with amazing people doing the thing i am passionate about. Being a Les Mills instructor really is a wonderful thing. Now i know i have just used about a million adjectives there, slight overload, but it’s all cringeworthingly true guys, #honestly.

A few years ago i was stuck in a job where i sat in front of a desk all day, being stressed, not enjoying my 8 hour office work. I felt like i was in a dungeon. I didn’t know what to do about it. I was scared to take the leap and leave a secure well paid job, to do something i love which wasn’t going to bring me mass income straight away, or necessarily ever. I didn’t even care about the income, i just wanted to be happy and enjoy my day to day life. But now, i can safely say, it’s the best thing i have ever done. Being in the fitness industry you feel like apart of a family. Everyone is always learning. Everyone supports each other. Everyone is passionate. One thing i’ve learnt about my career change from the legal sector into the fitness world, is that to feel like you never work, you have to do a job you love. The old saying is true. Do a job you love and never work a day in your life. Being here in Greece, I get paid to take Les Mills classes, activities around the pool, be surrounded by beautiful scenery. You can do it too. Or do whatever you want to do.

So please, don’t just sit there on your work laptop reading this. Do what you love and are passionate about. Life is too short. This post is just a little reminder that you can do anything. The possibilities are endless. Do what you love. This is just the motivation to kick you up the bum to get out of the job you hate, if you are that person. What’s the point in wasting days doing something you hate? Love every day. Life is free, make the most of it.
